The SeaBrick series touches on several topics including degradation, hope and rebirth.
I gather washed up brick fragments from the shoreline and pair each to a historic brick (circa 1865-1920) that I then mold to build the SeaBrick sculpture.
The final form shows both the found sea brick as well as the transparent representation of the historic brick.
Each of these sculptures are unique and original.
Materials: epoxy resin and sea-tumbled brick.
Approx dimensions (in): 8” x 3.625” x 2.25”
